Introduction
AKP Arkitek Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 16 July 1996 with the vision of providing innovative and creative architecture by architects who are experienced and knowledgeable in the art of planning, building and spatial design.

The name AKP is an acronym for Architects are Kreative People and is printed in all our business documents as a reminder that creativity, design and innovation represent our core values.

Key Personnel

Ying How is the founding director of AKP. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and worked in Edwards Madigan Torzillo and Briggs and The Rice Daubney Group in Sydney in the late 80s and on returning to Malaysia in 1989, Hijjas Kasturi Sdn Bhd and Akipraktis.

Hang Chong joined AKP in 2003 and became a director in 2011. He is a graduate of Tunghai University, Taiwan and Curtin University, Perth and obtained a Master of Architecture from Tunghai University. He worked in Architect He Sau See and Tai Yee Chea Architect and Associates in Taiwan and on returning to Malaysia in 1996, SP Chin Architects.

Cumar was an AKP director from 2002 - 2015 and now our senior consultant. He is a graduate of Architecture with a Master in Real Estate from the University of NSW. He has worked in John Andrews International, Travis Partners, Frischkencht Design, AJM, Peremba, City of Sydney, Thinc Projects, Multiplex, Coffey and TSA Management.
